ASP is the nation's largest swimming pool service franchise with over 100 franchise owners operating in more than 350 cities across 21 states. The Company provides a number of services including pool maintenance, cleaning, inspections, repairs and renovation.


Situation

The Company engaged Croft & Bender to help it evaluate strategic alternatives, including an equity investment or strategic sale of the business. Croft & Bender worked with the Company to build a financial model, develop marketing materials, conduct management presentations, manage the diligence process and negotiate with interested parties.


Result

Croft & Bender successfully negotiated the sale of the Company to Authority Brands, a portfolio company of Apax Partners.
